Description

Taking "statement piece" to a whole new level. The Thanni Maia Large Bowl from the luxe new collection is drop dead gorgeous! Its sculptural shape was designed by Beatriz Ball to add “wow” to any tabletop and combines a white exterior color surface with a brilliant gold or silver interior. The pieces are simply spectacular and are as beautiful as they are practical! The finishes are so sturdy that they can go even in commercial dishwashers.

Each piece is passionately handmade by skilled artisans in Beatriz Ball’s own foundry outside of Mexico City. The result is distinctively modern yet classic; where color, material and texture are used in thoughtful ways to create a collection with a distinctly sophisticated and thoroughly authentic point of view. With the Thanni Collection Beatriz Ball has reinvented metalware.

This large bowl is truly a standout, and makes a sensational luxe gift. Beatriz Ball’s intensely handmade products employ eco-friendly and sustainable materials and are crafted by artisans who trace a heritage of metalworking for generations.

More from Beatriz Ball

Beatriz Ball’s roots in design go back over 30 years, when the Cuban-born designer began working hand-in-hand with skilled metalware artisans on the outskirts of Mexico City, creating updated, innovative designs in a special lustrous alloy of many metals. She now operates a foundry dedicated solely to the manufacture of her own designs where she employs nearly 100 of the best and most gifted artisans in Mexico. In an intensely handmade process, skilled craftsmen create each one of the pieces, one at a time, utilizing the same molding and casting methods the Greeks and Romans did thousands of years ago.
