The diamond/ceramic rods in both coarse and fine grits will put an edge on even the dullest knife with only a few strokes. Sharpen with the coarse grit, then hone with the fine grit. Fitted with an ergonomic handle, the protective hand guard keeps your fingers out of harms way. And the six silicone nubs on which it rests ensure no-slip sharpening. This sharpener is suitable for both western and eastern-style fine edge blades.
