Michael Wainwright Truro Platinum Salad Plate
Inspired by walking barefoot on the beaches and golden dunes of Truro, Cape Cod, Michael created the Truro collection, capturing the timeless shifting of ocean, wind and sand. This new Truro porcelain collection is a reinvention of one of his earliest designs. Michael Wainwright is known for fusing clay with precious metals in a modern, seamless manner. He creates handmade looking pieces with a gold and platinum flair that are not just adornment but part of the design. 9.25”.

More from Michael Wainwright
Michael has been getting his hands dirty in clay since the age of 7. When he graduated from New York University in 1991 with a degree in clay sculpture, he didn't know what to do for a living so he sold his handmade wares in street fairs and craft shows around New York City on weekends, carting his wares on a handtruck on the subway. Now Michael Wainwright USA sells to stores big and small across the country, and Michael thinks he has finally figured out what he wants to do in life.
