Bunka knives are recognizable by their "reverse Tanto" profile, also known as "K-tip," which enhances precision compared to a classic rounded blade. The signature octagonal handle is made of ebony wood, renowned for its hardness and aging properties.

The Tsuchime finish involves hammering the blade of the knife to create a unique pattern on the surface. The hammered pattern creates tiny pockets of air between the blade and the food. This ancestral Japanese method reduces drag, thus preventing food from sticking to the blade.

The Bunka collection features hidden full tang blades, extending to the bottom of the handle for enhanced durability and balance.
