Product Overview

Bergamo? It's an Italian city northeast of Milan, in the Lombardy region. Its older upper district, called Città Alta, is characterized by timeworn cobblestone streets, encircled by ancient walls. Inspired by the cobblestones of the old city and presented in our signature hand-polished metalware, the Vento Bergamo Oval Chip & Dip combines two great pieces into one fantastic item.

This attractive two-parter in gleaming metal offers stylish design and elegant practicality. With its detachable dip bowl, this versatile oval piece is perfect for serving fresh fruit, veggies, and crackers with your favorite dips and spreads. An original Beatriz Ball design sustainably handmade of an FDA-safe, easy-care, oven and freezer-friendly aluminum alloy. Hand wash and dry.

More from Beatriz Ball

Beatriz Ball’s roots in design go back over 30 years, when the Cuban-born designer began working hand-in-hand with skilled metalware artisans on the outskirts of Mexico City, creating updated, innovative designs in a special lustrous alloy of many metals. She now operates a foundry dedicated solely to the manufacture of her own designs where she employs nearly 100 of the best and most gifted artisans in Mexico. In an intensely handmade process, skilled craftsmen create each one of the pieces, one at a time, utilizing the same molding and casting methods the Greeks and Romans did thousands of years ago.
